For over 70 years, we have been dedicated to supporting the instrumental music education of students in District 102, ensuring they have the resources they need to thrive. We help empower students by fostering a love for music through access to quality instrumental education, providing instruments, scholarships, and experiences that inspire growth, creativity, and community.

Why PIMA Needs Your Support

PIMA has been an integral part of the D102 music program for decades. Currently, we help provide over 350 students with access to high-quality music education, offering everything from instruments to summer scholarship lessons. Your donations directly support the needs of our students, ensuring they have the resources to grow as musicians and individuals.

What Your Donation Will Do

Every dollar you contribute goes straight to the students. Here are some of the key programs and expenses your support helps fund:

Instrument and Equipment Purchases: Ensuring students have access to the instruments that best meet their needs.
Summer Scholarship Lessons: Subsidizing private lessons for students who need financial assistance to continue their music education over the summer.
Jr. High Outing: Students play at clinics and get feedback from other conductors, and spend the rest of the day having fun at places like Six Flags Great America.
West Suburban Symphony Trip: Giving students the opportunity to attend a performance by the West Suburban Symphony Orchestra, expanding their musical horizons.
End of Year Party: Celebrating the students' hard work with a fun-filled end-of-year party!
